5.14 miles
1:05:02 (12:39/mile)
I did not push myself too hard, but I guess I pushed myself long! Legs are tired at the end of a five miler...that makes me wonder if they have 13.1 in them...AAAH the doubts are creeping in. Need to get back to training to build up my confidence again.
Stress test on Wed was 100% normal, that is good. Whatever is making my pulse speed up every now & then while running is not circulatory (i.e., heart-related). I may just need to slow down, so that is what I shall do!
Good to be out on the road again:-) I love vacation because dh can watch the kiddos while I run in the--gasp--daylight. What a pleasure!
As I wrap up the year 2006 and look back, wow. If you had told me that this year I would complete two 5K's and an 8K, and that I would have training runs of 4, 5, and 6 miles, well, I would have thought you were nuts. Now, I think *I'm* nuts--in a good way!
Happy New Year:-)

Happy New Year. You will appreciate that soreness after your long runs when you feel how strong they are on your short ones. Then when you do 7, 8, and 9 miles, your legs will feel so strong after doing 5. Keep up the good work. That is an awesome pace.
Oh hun, runners are NUTS!!! Wonderful job on the 5 miles! And way to pass the stress test! Things sound good! :)
